In a mountain town that serves as a waystation for the dead, two immortal husbands quietly manage the afterlife—until a resurrected teen with fractured memories threatens to expose a divine coup and unravel the system they swore to protect.
SYNOPSIS:
Elysian Falls is a one-hour supernatural drama about what it means to build a life with someone when the world—and the afterlife—is designed to pull you apart.Immortal agents Thanatos and Kalantaka run a cozy café in a misty mountain town that doubles as a gateway between life and death. They maintain divine order behind the scenes, processing souls and keeping the peace between realms. They’re also secretly married—something strictly forbidden under the laws of the supernatural world. When Thanatos strikes a secret deal with a dethroned death goddess to protect their home, he sets off a chain reaction that threatens everything they’ve built.
Into this fragile peace walks Talisa, a teenage girl who survives a violent death and comes back with broken memories of the afterlife—and a relentless belief that her sister is still alive. Her return disrupts the balance between realms and draws the attention of powerful forces eager to exploit her.
Tonally, the show blends The Sandman, Six Feet Under, and Good Omens. At its core, it’s a love story set against a backdrop of divine systems, quiet resistance, and the people still trying to hold it all together.

Elysian Falls sounds exciting, Ragan Mozee! And unique! I haven't seen this take on the afterlife in shows or movies. And it seems like the characters are going to be layered and there's going to be a lot of conflict and dilemma. I'm excited to watch this show!
