As a teen, Sharon witnessed the brutal aftermath of her mother's murder—killed after refusing to pay extortion money to local thugs targeting their dress shop. That trauma reshaped her forever. Sharon discovers her father is Kwame, a powerful voodoo practitioner and African god in human form. Under his guidance, she trains in ancient Nigerian combat styles and dark mysticism, mastering the arts of both creation and destruction. Now a designer by day and vengeful hunter by night, Sharon uses her talents—and her trauma—to hunt down the men who shattered her life. With every stitch, she threads together justice. And with every kill, she’s not just sewing garments... she’s sewing genitals to faces, sewing their fates.

Stitch all the pieces together' is a metaphor drawn from the film’s themes of sewing and fashion. Beyond its literal reference to clothing, it symbolizes the protagonist’s attempt to piece her life, identity, and purpose back together after trauma. Just as she threads fabric into something whole, she’s trying to mend her broken world — emotionally, spiritually, and even supernaturally. Type situation.

Cool, @Darnay. I think that'd be great for the synopsis and pitch, but I think it hurts the logline. A producer might pass because the last part of the logline is vague. Or are you producing this under Cockrell Content LLC? If you are, scratch what I said.

This will be my first feature film, and I wanted to ask—if a producer is genuinely interested in one of my projects after reading the logline, is it normal for them to charge a fee upfront? Someone reached out saying they want to work with me from this platform, but they’re asking for \$850 to begin... producing?? And the LOGLINE work was heard and received.

I came to this platform after Coverfly started winding down, hoping to tap into a broader network and real industry opportunities. What I didn’t expect was to run into fraud Willie’s —people playing games, pretending to be something they’re not.
It’s frustrating, but it’s also motivation. Because if they’re copying, faking, or misleading, it means I’m doing something they can’t . Still, it’s disheartening. I’m just trying to build something real, meaningful in my new life-change.
I get what you mean, @Darnay. Scammers pop up on this platform now and then, but Stage 32 is quick to get rid of them. But don't let there being scammers discourage you. Keep networking and pitching. I sold four short scripts to a producer on Stage 32 by networking and pitching (posting my scripts on my profile like you did). And I've had other success on Stage 32 by pitching another way (posting my loglines, script posters, and pages of my scripts in the Your Stage Lounge).
We don't get discouraged, problems don’t break me—they focus me. I’m not in this for followers or fame. I breathe cinema. I build in silence. I study, read, and I work, work, work like no one else will. But thank you for the kind words, my boy.
