When a reserved middle school teacher unexpectedly becomes the legal guardian of his sharp-tongued, younger half-brother, both are forced into a reluctant relationship neither of them asked for. Watched closely by child protective services and challenged by the messy legacy of their late father, the two struggle to coexist under the same roof. This sounds great, Tyler Hill! I'd definitely watch it. A dedicated, lonely teacher and foul-mouthed teen. It's like in those Buddy Cop movies where the personalities of the lead characters clash. I think your logline is solid except for two small things. I suggest changing "dedicated but lonely" to "dedicated, lonely." And I suggest changing "must navigate" to "navigate."
