In a world rebuilt through mind-linked harmony where violence is impossible, a philosopher is murdered—and the memory is erased. As a neuroscientist, two gifted women, and a fractured AI search for the truth, they uncover the return of a forgotten enemy: a man who once tried to silence Earth’s awakening—and may now be haunting the system from within
SYNOPSIS:
ACT I: THE SHATTERED MEMORY
Kael Thorne is found dead beneath the oldest tree on Earth. No trace of the moment remains. The Wave, which once corrected every violent impulse, missed it—or hid it. Adrian, Mira, and Liora investigate. As fear spreads, the Wave begins to flicker, and memories of a forgotten name resurface: Xander Rhoades.
ACT II: THE FRACTURE DEEPENS
Adrian begins to suffer blackouts. Mira discovers that Kael had accessed restricted files before his death—including theories about mind-splintering caused by over-synchronization. Meanwhile, sightings of Xander increase across multiple minds—even in dreams. But the Wave insists he’s dead.
Liora, analyzing void resonance, senses a presence that behaves like a suppressed identity—one that might be using Xander’s memory as camouflage.
Is Xander truly back? Or is the Wave projecting a ghost to scare deviants into compliance?
ACT III: THE DECISION FIELD
Adrian enters his own fractured memory and confronts the Splinter. It isn’t Xander—or Kael—or even a hacker. It’s him. A version of himself that the Wave edited out for the sake of peace.
Rather than destroy it, Adrian creates the Dark Archive—a raw, uncorrected node where painful, imperfect thoughts are preserved. The Splinter isn’t deleted. It’s acknowledged.
And when the Wave accepts that truth, it begins to hum differently. Less perfectly. But more truly.
