A forgotten female pioneer builds a humanitarian rescue system that saves thousands—only to be erased by the very institutions she helped create. Decades later, her son uncovers the truth and reopens the fight, leading to a legal and emotional reckoning across borders. Inspired by true events.
SYNOPSIS:
In a rigid postwar society, a determined woman with no formal authority dares to reshape the future of emergency rescue. After witnessing alpine air-rescue operations abroad, she initiates a humanitarian helicopter system in her home country—independent from government, military, or profit. Her vision saves thousands.
But success makes her a threat. Weeks after the launch, powerful actors force her out, build a shadow structure behind her back, and gradually erase her name from the very system she created.
Years later, her son—trained in law and economics—reopens her case. What starts as a family investigation evolves into a real-world political thriller: hidden trusts, offshore accounts, institutional complicity, and two landmark victories at the European Court of Human Rights.
But truth alone isn’t enough. As silence persists, mother and son decide to reclaim history through cinema—telling the story no court and no newsroom dared to carry.
A psychological-political thriller based on true events. A legacy of resistance.
When history is erased, cinema remembers.
