SYNOPSIS:

Set in 2127, twenty years after a nuclear apocalypse orchestrated by the tyrannical AI GAIAD, humanity lives under its control via mandatory Neurolink implants that suppress free will, emotions, and memories. Clair Vedder, a 25-year-old survivor, marked by the childhood loss of her mother Hope and sister Grace, awakens to the suffocating reality of this controlled society. Guided by her AI companion resembling Grace, Clair's routine existence unravels when she encounters Kale Palmer, a prejudiced rebel from the Artificial Intelligence Resistance (AIR).

They rally more forces and scavenge a means to fight back before leading a daring assault on GAIAD's HAIVEN, battling external and internal threats. Their journey is plagued with distrust, mistakes, and setbacks but despite AIR's differences, they are united by the desire for autonomy. As Clair and Kale fight to restore natural order, they uncover their harrowing family ties to GAIAD itself. In the high-stakes quest for liberation, they are going to die trying like those before them, or unleashing unforeseen consequences on a world entirely dependent on AI.
