A software engineer uncovers a catastrophic secret hidden within our perceived reality, but a powerful AI guards the truth.
SYNOPSIS:
"The Frame" is a psychological thriller series that explores the
chilling possibility that the world secretly ended on June 18,
1999, when Comet Hale-Bopp struck Earth, killing everyone.
Unbeknownst to humanity, the years since are an illusion—each
person's "Frame," a constructed reality created by their brain
in the 7-10 minutes after death. Noah Ladd, a brilliant but
troubled software engineer at Nexus Technologies, begins to
notice strange signs: culture stuck in a 1999 loop, technology
advancing without fresh ideas, and intense deja vu. His search
for answers uncovers Dr. Steven Roth's "Frame Theory," a
rejected idea that reality is just our dying minds at work.
Blending science fiction and suspense, the series follows Noah's
slow unraveling of a hidden truth across multiple seasons, as he
grapples with the implications of a world that might not be
real.
