Bear and his college friends have decided to do their research project on "Skinwalkers" since Bear in Native American. While on the reservations they ruffle a few feathers and are kicked off. During the drive home a Skinwalker stalks and slaughters them one by one. Only Bear and Dani survive the night, how they survived has to remain between them. Bear saved them when he learned he has the ability to be a Skinwalker.
