Big ‘Rig’ Rigatoni, an absurdist Don of the local mafia, is addressed by a confidant looking to rise through the ranks, however, Big Rigatoni recounts a series of betrayals that led them to this moment.

This sounds like an interesting mob story, Connor N. F. Field, but the logline is just the setup. I suggest adding the protagonist's goal and the stakes.
