By Daniel Fish

GENRE: Drama, Crime
LOGLINE:

When a nationally significant trial lands in the courtroom of a stern and incorruptible judge after a change of venue, he must navigate a storm of public outrage, media scrutiny, and personal threats to ensure that truth and justice prevail against overwhelming odds.

SYNOPSIS:

Judge William Sutherland, a no-nonsense arbiter of the law, is thrust into the national spotlight when a high-profile case is transferred to his courtroom. The defendant, a wealthy and powerful public figure, stands accused of crimes that have divided the nation. The courtroom becomes a battlefield as both the prosecution and defense push ethical boundaries, using manipulation and theatrics to sway the outcome. Outside the courthouse, protests rage, and the media fuels the fire of public opinion. As bribes, threats, and political pressure converge on Sutherland, he remains an unyielding beacon of integrity, holding all parties accountable. But with his reputation on the line and the nation watching, Sutherland must confront the murky divide between legal obligation and moral truth. In a gripping finale, his decisions will define not only the trial but the very principles of the justice system
