CRITTERVILLE CHRONICLES II: KAMP KRITTER
By Daniel Fish

GENRE: Family, Animation
LOGLINE:

As the summer unfolds at Kamp Kritter, camp leader Kora the Squirrel inspires a shy beaver named Benny to embrace his unique talents, teaching the campers that kindness, teamwork, and self-belief can uncover extraordinary gifts in everyone.

SYNOPSIS:

Nestled between the sparkling waters of Lake Lilly and the sprawling Kritter Forrest State Park, Kamp Kritter is the perfect summer retreat for Critterville’s young residents. Led by Kora, the spirited and kind-hearted squirrel, the camp promises adventures, laughter, and plenty of life lessons. But not every camper is eager to dive in—Benny the Beaver, timid and self-doubting, struggles to find his place amidst the excitement.

As rivalries flare during the Critter Cup Challenge, a camp-wide event testing creativity and teamwork, Kora notices Benny hesitating on the sidelines. Determined to help him see his potential, she gently encourages him to take part, sharing words of wisdom about embracing his differences and believing in himself. Slowly but surely, Benny begins to open up, culminating in a pivotal moment during the final challenge, where his unexpected talents shine brightly, changing how the campers see him—and themselves.

Amid the classic camp hijinks and playful pranks, the campers discover the value of kindness and collaboration, realizing that every critter has something special to offer. By the end of the summer, friendships are forged, rivalries fade, and Benny emerges more confident and self-assured, thanks to Kora's unwavering belief in him.

And tying the whole tale together is Critterville’s endlessly entertaining Mayor Hoot, whose love for storytelling brings laughter and connection to the town. His humorous, long-winded narration hilariously bookends the film, serving as a lighthearted reminder that patience is also a virtue in this delightful chapter of the Critterville Chronicles.
