A secret government agency creates an algorithm to identify the most appealing woman in the world so they can associate her with the most unethical, amoral men to determine if their behavior improves.
SYNOPSIS:
Act I - An unassuming young woman named Abby finds herself at the center of a secret government experiment intended to demonstrate how we can reduce violence and greed in the world. Agents probe their amazing database that houses personal information about every person on Earth linking data gathered from their Smart TVs, cell phones, on street cameras, computer tablets, and credit card receipts, and they identify Abby as the single most appealing woman alive. Despite her doubts that anyone or anything could identify one person as most appealing, she agrees to participate in the experiment in order to relieve herself of massive credit card debt. For the experiment to succeed, though, she takes a vow of secrecy, forcing her to deceive her friends, including her boyfriend.
The plot begins in the future describing the impact of clones upon three less than virtuous males, a ruthless, failing businessman, a mob enforcer so taken with his cloned Abby that he doesn't want to enforce anything anymore and a con man initially too busy greedily conning everyone to be influenced by anyone's appeal. As each male cannot help but fall in love with their Abby clone, though, the government reacts ecstatically, embracing the preliminary results and logically decide to substantially increase the number of clones around the globe.
Act II - The ability to keep the experiment secret becomes impossible as clones begin to intersect with one another, appearing in unlikely places. The original Abby even freaks out when she sees herself on a city street. Abby keeps going to greater and greater lengths to deceive her friends and the story comes to a boil when her boyfriend invites clergy with whom he works to a meeting at a middle eastern restaurant only to find an Abby clone entertaining them as a belly dancer. One of the clergy recognizes the belly dancer as his girlfriend despite the boyfriend's best efforts to divert his attention, setting off a brawl among restaurant patrons who want to see the performance continue and the boyfriend is arrested. Meanwhile, in a separate development, police arrest several clones in other parts of the city because they have not been educated in how to behave in society and they wind up at the police station along with the boyfriend who cannot begin to understand what is happening.
Act III - The government agents realize they have gone too far, but don't know how to bring the experiment to an end and they do not want to pay to maintain the clones for the rest of their lives. So they hatch a plan to reduce the number of clones, otherwise known as murdering them, reasoning that no one will miss them anyway. They direct everyone to meet at a luxurious resort called Klept-O-Largo. All hell breaks loose as the mob enforcer's boss shows up to kill Abby so he can reclaim the enforcer he used to know, asking which one of them is Abby, but the clones consider Abby as their defacto mother and won't give her up a la Spartacus, standing and repeating "I am Abby!". Unlike the woman at the beginning of the story who had a hard time deciding anything for herself, this Abby takes charge and decides to give up the payoff promised in order to save the lives of the clones and returns to a simple life with the guy who loves her and who she loves.
