After her brother Eli vanishes in the Georgia swamps, Avery (17) discovers his charred journal detailing the “Hollowing Curse”—a century-old tragedy where children burned alive in a schoolhouse fire now linger as voiceless spirits, stealing voices to sustain themselves. Desperate for answers, Avery recruits her friends to find the cursed ruins.

Led by Eli’s cryptic map, the group ventures into the fog-choked swamp, where whispers stalk their every step. Inside the scorched schoolhouse, they uncover a chilling truth: the spirits, called The Hollowed, mimic the living to lure victims. When Eli’s ghost appears, pleading silently, the friends realize they’re trapped.
