There has never been a show before in the history of television that has attempted to pull a group of young women out of the "poverty line" and change their lives forever...

Trailer Park Girls is a reality competition series that blends elements of Cinderella and Survivor, following five young, economically disenfranchised women from various trailer parks across the U.S. Each contestant is given a fresh start through temporary administrative jobs at prestigious corporations near their homes, with professional makeovers and job training to help them navigate their new roles. Each week, the contestants’ work performance is graded on punctuality, attitude, and task completion, while their social skills are tested through a dating challenge. The series juxtaposes their humble beginnings with their newfound opportunities, highlighting their growth both professionally and personally.

The contestants are coached by a job and life coach, with moments of comedic tension in workplace setups reminiscent of Candid Camera. Throughout the show, their progress is tracked, with scores tallied each week. The finale features a nationwide live call-in where viewers help determine the winner, who will receive a $250,000 prize.
