SYNOPSIS:
Sam wilder, a middle aged TV repairman stuck in the monotony of his failing marriage, is forced to confront the mess he's made of his life when his wife Linda asks for a separation. Lost and desperate to win her back, Sam stumbles into an unconventional self help group led by the enigmatic guru Gang Cheng. Promising to unlock hidden confidence and masculinity, Sam is dragged into a whirlwind of bizarre challenges and an outlandish transformation.
As Sam immerses himself in self healing, he makes friends with the other group misfits, who are equally desperate and challenged, all seeking their own re-invention.
Enter Tom Wild, Sam's alter ego, a determined fitter version of Sam who'll stop at nothing to win his wife back. But all his crazy attempts seem to backfire as Sam is forced to reassess his journey and attempt to heal his childhood past. Through grief and unexpected brotherhood, Sam finally realizes that the love he's been chasing has to start within.
In a heartfelt goodbye Sam and his wife Linda acknowledge their marriage was never meant to last, but their shared history and family they built, will always remain.
