SYNOPSIS:

At UCLA, a tight-knit group of senior film students-Jax, Bobby, Mikey, Taylor, and Ryan-are tasked with a final horror project by their enigmatic professor, Crane. The assignment sets them on an eerie collision course with The Prophesied Script, which Jax first discovers while cleaning out a storage office at a Hollywood agency. When peers and industry figures start dying in bizarre, cinematic ways, Jax begins to uncover a terrifying pattern. Each death seems eerily prophesied in a script dated 1975, written by a forgotten screenwriter, Scherrye Walker, whose career was stolen from her by Hollywood’s elite.

As paranoia mounts, friendships fracture. Her film classmates Ryan and Taylor fall victim to the script’s curse, leaving Jax, Bobby, and Mikey desperate for answers. Jax tracks down Scherrye, now living in isolation, who chillingly reveals that the only way to stop the script is to take control of it-to become the writer. But stopping it requires a sacrifice. Jax realizes she must make an unthinkable choice.

In a final, devastating act of agency, Jax rewrites Bobby's death into the script - leading him to the iconic Hollywood sign, where she believes she'll silence the script once and for all.

But as the sign goes up in flames by a massive explosion, Bobby miraculously surfaces ....alive.

Grateful and shaken, Jax invites him to her nanna's lake house for the summer, desperate to find peace and escape the nightmare.

But on her birthday, she receives a gift, a new laptop. But it's the handwritten letter that chills her to the bone- signed by Scherrye.

Before she can make sense of it, Jax and Bobby are drawn to the lake for a final swim, when a boat barrels towards them.

As their screams echo across the glassy water, one thing becomes terrifying clear.

The script is never truly finished.
