In a near-future America where political and religious authorities merge to control citizens through biometric faith scores and emotional surveillance, a disillusioned insider joins a young rebel to expose the system’s quiet erasure of free thought before the last remnants of dissent are crushed.
SYNOPSIS:
In a near-future America ruled by biometric faith metrics and corporate theocracy, President Jeremiah Creed inaugurates his historic third term, promising “unity through obedience.” The nation thrives on FaithScore—a mandatory emotional, moral, and religious rating system tied to access, identity, and survival. Those who fall below the approved threshold are flagged for “alignment”—a euphemism for neural reprogramming using NeuroCoin, a sub-cranial chip that overrides free will.
Amid this suffocating system, Julian Reyes, the haunted architect of the Dominion’s original surveillance grid, works in secret to reconnect The Veil, a shattered resistance network. Across the country, young operative Camille Vega risks her life infiltrating a reformation facility where children undergo forced emotional compliance surgeries. She escapes with explosive evidence—only to discover the regime has already deepfaked her image into a national Praise Report, turning her into a poster child for loyalty.
Meanwhile, Ruben Malik, a brilliant but bitter underground tech, uncovers Phase II of NeuroCoin: mandatory emotional syncing for every citizen. Inside the media machine, once-powerful anchor Eden Kinloch watches the truth she once exposed systematically erased, while her own loyalty metrics tick toward expiration.
As Camille flees, Julian and Ruben prepare a desperate analog broadcast to expose the Dominion’s crimes. Julian’s final message—broadcast to a nation of hollow-eyed citizens—is a plea not for war, but for memory: a reminder that they were once more than scores, more than obedience, more than data.
But when the signal cuts and Faith Enforcement drones descend, one truth remains:
The Veil lives. And the revolution is only beginning.
