In a dying Nine Realms where even gods have forgotten their sacred oaths, a fractured family must battle betrayal, memory, and cosmic collapse or lose not just their world, but the spirit of existence itself.
SYNOPSIS:
In the twilight of the Nine Realms, a silent collapse begins. The sacred oaths that once held the realms together are broken. The gods long seen as immortal and untouchable, find themselves facing a storm they can neither battle nor flee: the death of memory itself.
The event that ignites the story is the slow decay of the Bifrost, the living artery that binds the realms. Heimdall, gatekeeper of the worlds, sees visions of a future where even Asgard’s golden halls fall into silence. Odin, sensing the unraveling, moves to secure the future by forging new alliances and hunting for the lost secrets of survival, even as betrayal brews inside his own house.
Thor, restless and wounded, seeks to prove himself in battle against the Giants of Jotunheim, hoping brute strength can restore what is slipping away. Loki, haunted by visions of doom and consumed by old wounds, begins manipulating events to his own unknown ends, torn between brotherhood and resentment.
As the gods pursue their desperate goals, they encounter barriers far greater than enemies. Pride blinds them. Old blood feuds rise again. Ancient prophecies twist their actions against them. The Giants, once seen as primitive enemies, reveal truths that Odin has hidden. Even the roots of Yggdrasil tremble, suggesting that the end is not just physical, but spiritual.
Some battles are won: Thor claims brutal victories on the field. Odin forges a fragile alliance with powers beyond Asgard. But the greater war, the war against forgetting and decay, grinds them down.
By the end of the first movement, they have lost more than they realize. The Nine Realms are slipping further into darkness. Trust is shattered. Memory fades. New seeds of betrayal are sown, deeper than any blade could wound.
We leave them on the edge of a deeper war, the coming of the Aesir-Vanir conflict and the bitter realization that no matter how hard they fight, the collapse has already begun.
The gods are no longer immortal.
The worlds are no longer safe.
And the echoes are growing louder.
