When a straight man visits a gay beach in Florida with his girlfriend, he discovers his true self after meeting a handsome stranger, leading him on a journey of self-acceptance while trying to avoid his impending wedding arranged by his disapproving father.

SYNOPSIS:

The story follows Tom, a handsome but conflicted man who is on vacation in Fort Lauderdale with his girlfriend Rachel. While on the beach, Tom meets Mike and feels an instant connection. It's revealed that Tom is struggling with his sexuality and expectations from Rachel and his disapproving father to marry Rachel.

With the help of a flamboyant Fairy Godfather, Tom comes to accept that he is gay. Rachel and Tom's fathers scheme to keep Tom and Mike apart. After comical twists and turns, including Tom taking a sleeping potion and needing true love's kiss to wake up, Tom and Mike end up together.

Rachel surprisingly finds an admirer in Midge. In the end, Tom chooses to be with Mike and they drive off together to start a new life, finally free. The Fairy Godfather's sidekick Dwight also gets his own surprise reward - a golden ticket to meet Willy Wonka.
