SYNOPSIS:

Annabelle Vaber is a young woman at the precipice of a professional career who is confronted with internal conflicts between her path in life and her identity. Her deliberations leave only unanswered questions for meaning.

Annabelle seeks contemplation and clarity through a solo trip into the North West interior with her ever-supporting dog Chester. The journey is perilously diverted when the bush plane she is on crashes. This forces Annabelle into a survival situation fraught with fear, struggle, and life and death decisions. She experiences pain, hunger, the elements, and wild animals, specifically a stalking cougar that preys on her throughout. Annabelle is pushed beyond her physical, mental, and spiritual limits but this taps into an unimaginable strength and catharsis.

Annabelle masters her survival, both within the wilderness and within herself. However, the transformation is threatened by a culminating showdown that forces her will to triumph in the most heartbreaking action.

Only then, does Annabelle meet her chance to make it out alive… to reface society- forever changed.
