Forty years later, Mac is a flight instructor estranged from his wife Ellen,a wartime nurse, and distant from their grown children Daniel and Claire, who now run the family flight school. But Mac has never stopped searching for what happened to Liberty, When a dying ex-colonel provides new intel about the crash and a rumored Nazi fortress buried in the desert, Mac and Ellen head to North Africa, uncovering not just wreckage, but a terrifying secret: a Nazi base still active, guarded by enhanced super soldiers and led by the ageless General Mueller.
