Four disillusioned lifelong friends stuck in dead-end Miami jobs escape the grind on secret weekend treasure hunts—but when they uncover a real clue to a legendary pirate fortune, their hobby turns into a high-stakes race against a dangerous rival who’ll stop at nothing to claim it first.
SYNOPSIS:
By day, they’re just four overworked, underappreciated friends grinding away in thankless Miami jobs: Adam, the daydreaming law firm drone; Jess, the sarcastic librarian with no patience for fantasy; Luis, the anxious accountant who plans life to the minute; and Mia, a thrill-seeking meter maid who lives for the chase.
But on the weekends? They’re Fortune Hunters—diving into the wild world of shipwrecks, forgotten history, and unsolved mysteries scattered along Florida’s sun-drenched coast.
When Adam discovers a mysterious 18th-century journal hinting at a long-lost pirate shipwreck connected to the legendary Black Caesar, the group stumbles onto the trail of a treasure hidden for over 300 years. What starts as another weekend adventure quickly spirals into a dangerous game of cat and mouse as they’re pursued by a ruthless rival hunter and tangled in secrets buried deep beneath the waves.
Now, the friends must rely on each other—and confront their own fears, regrets, and ambitions—to solve a centuries-old mystery and prove that there’s more to life than just surviving the workweek.
Fortune Hunters is a modern-day Goonies-meets-Ocean’s Eleven adventure about friendship, freedom, and finding treasure in the most unexpected places.
