APEX PROTOCOL
By Gary Laney

GENRE: Sci-fi
LOGLINE: Framed for assassination and sentenced to life in a brutal prison orbiting the moon, an elite spy escapes with a rogue crew to dismantle the black-ops syndicate that betrayed him,and expose the shadow conspiracy behind it all.

SYNOPSIS:

In a future where corporations and black-ops agencies control the stars, elite spy Jack Keller is framed for the assassination of a high-ranking diplomat and sentenced to Luna Max, a brutal prison orbiting the Moon. Ruled by the ruthless Warden Voss and patrolled by lethal security drones, Luna Max is a place where prisoners disappear forever.

But Jack refuses to die in a cell.

Inside, he analyzes the system, finds its weaknesses, and builds a crew of unlikely allies:

  • Cipher – A rogue hacker with a talent for breaking into impossible system
  • Reese – A former black-ops soldier with a vendetta against the agency that betrayed him.
  • Tiko – A reckless but brilliant pilot who can fly anything.
  • Dr. Elysia Voss – The warden’s own daughter, imprisoned for killing her abusive husband, who holds the key to Luna Max’s security network.

Using stolen security codes and a prison riot as cover, Jack and his team hijack a Titan stealth ship and make their daring escape.

But running isn’t enough. Jack wants revenge.

Their first target: The Butcher, Apex Initiative’s top enforcer. Infiltrating a black-site prison, they eliminate him and steal intelligence pointing to a deep-space data vault—the nerve center of Apex’s secrets.

Breaking into the heavily guarded vault, Jack’s team exposes classified evidence of Apex’s crimes, revealing a shadow war for control of the system. But their biggest discovery? Director Staton wasn’t acting alone. A deeper power lurks behind Apex Initiative—one that won’t go down easily.

The final battle takes them to Apex HQ, where Jack faces Director Staton in a brutal showdown. Enhanced with combat cybernetics, Staton nearly kills Jack—but Jack outmaneuvers him, forcing a system-wide broadcast that exposes Apex’s corruption.

As Apex collapses, Jack and his team regroup on a hidden U.N. space station. Cipher has given them new identities, a chance to disappear. But Jack isn’t done. Apex was just the beginning.
