SYNOPSIS:

“Bloody Mary” is a deranged, hyper-stylized horror satire that follows Mary Ellington—a mentally unraveling cosplay performer who has spent years crafting her persona for an online audience. On camera, she’s a dream: soft-spoken, princess-perfect, and made to be adored. Off camera, she’s invisible—discarded by boyfriends, mocked by fake friends, and emotionally hollowed out by the digital gaze.

When betrayal strikes too deep, Mary transforms her heartbreak into horror. She begins murdering those who used her, lied to her, and tried to imitate her—and livestreaming it all like a demented auteur. Every kill is art. Every frame is performance. As the bodies pile up, so does her fanbase.

At its blood-soaked core, Bloody Mary is a satire of influencer culture, the fetishization of mental illness, and the loss of personal identity in a world addicted to pixels and praise. It asks: what happens when the performance never ends? And who do you become when your whole life is content?
