It's not long before her sense of identity is so far gone, even she cannot recognize who she’s becoming.

SYNOPSIS:

I’ve written the pilot for a one-hour dramatic TV series entitled, Belle Masquerade. This series

follows the severe psychological unraveling of MONE'T BRADLEY a well-respected and feared

senior partner at a prestigious law firm who projects the image of utter perfection. She’s

brilliant, wealthy, Harvard educated, happily married and seemingly living the

American Dream.

But this image of perfection is a fragile façade for the horrific past she’s left behind.

When two long-lost enemies re-enter her life, and Mone’t must now live a double life, trying to

keep the worlds from intersecting, her carefully crafted persona begins to unfurl. Determined to

conceal her secrets, she struggles to contain the two realities, but swiftly begins to morph into

someone even she cannot recognize.

This series explores the complex gradations of identity – the tension between images we project

versus how we actually feel inside. Belle Masquerade looks at the ways in which the “self” is defined and

preserved, through the dramatic emotional journey of one woman and the choices made by those

who love her.
