An Indian woman raised within an arranged future begins to question her life after moving to Manchester, where a new connection challenges everything she thought she wanted.
SYNOPSIS:
Eshana, a 28 year old engineer from India, has always lived within a life shaped by certainty, family, tradition, and an arranged future with someone she has known since childhood. Just before leaving for a work opportunity in Manchester, she faces quiet resistance from her mother and a subtle urgency from Arjun, who hopes to formalize their relationship before she goes.
In a new country, far from everything familiar, Eshana begins to experience a different kind of silence, one that allows her to see herself more clearly. At work, she forms a connection with Scott, a colleague whose openness and perspective slowly challenge the way she understands choice, belonging, and identity.
As her bond with Scott deepens, so does the distance between her and the life she left behind. Yet the expectations waiting for her at home remain unchanged. Caught between two equally real worlds, Eshana must confront a question she cannot easily answer, not who she will choose, but who she is becoming.
