After the bomb blast, Marie's life was like a blank canvas. Marie searches for answers to what she wants to do in her life now, even though the past continues to haunt her.

SYNOPSIS:

A bomb hit a church, after being dropped by a fighter jet. The wedding vows had not yet been said, but the bride-to-be, named Marie (26), became the victim. Not only Marie, several people who were in the church at the time, also became victims. Some of them died, but Marie can still be saved, even though she has to suffer injuries in a very serious condition.

Marie, along with several other survivors and critical victims, are hospitalized in separate rooms. After several days of critical condition and unconsciousness, Marie wakes up. When she wakes up, she doesn't remember what happened. She doesn't know where she is when she wakes up. Until the doctor finally explained what Marie is experiencing. The explanation from the doctor, makes Marie very sad and devastated.

Returning home from the hospital, Marie's life changed completely. She feels she is living in an unfamiliar world. She feels alone and strange. Even so, she does not live alone. She lives with one of her friends. It is her friend who picked her up from the hospital and takes care of all Marie's things when she gets home. It is also her friend who helps take care of her.

With burn scars on her arms and a serious head wound, Marie finds herself the most injured and helpless victim. She is no longer recognized who she is and what life she is living. Everything feels different and unfamiliar to Marie.

After several months of feeling sorry for herself, Marie goes to a meeting of victims and families of war victims. The meeting is organized by a community that cares for the victims. The meeting is called, “Self - Acceptance and Recovery.” Marie finds out about the meeting from a pamphlet she got from the hospital where she was treated.

There are several speakers who participated in the meeting. They ranged from priests to civilians with various backgrounds. At the meeting, Marie meets a man named Sebastian (28), who is also one of the speakers. Sebastian first sees Marie at the meeting, today. Sebastian tries to talk to Marie after the meeting, but Marie tries to avoid him by saying that she is in a hurry. Actually, Sebastian and Marie already knew each other. But because of her head injury, there are some things in Marie's life that she can't remember. And Sebastian is one of them.

After the incident that happened to her, Marie has not fully recovered. At least she hasn't recovered mentally. Therefore, Marie tries to find ways to heal her, by participating in various social activities. One of them is by volunteering at one of the shelters, which houses victims of war. Marie thought, maybe it would heal her wounds. And she is right. Because of this activity, Marie gets all the answers she is looking for. And this answer, makes her make a big decision in her life. Marie will leave everything behind, including the past that tries to persuade her to stay.
