During an incident involving a fight in a subway car, passengers recording what is happening on their smartphones come to a state of extreme horror and strive to leave the car at the next station as soon as possible because of The Pale Man sitting in the car.

SYNOPSIS:

The script "Pale" takes the viewer to different eras, where the main character — a mysterious man in black — appears as a mute observer of other people's dramas. In the 19th century, he rode in a sleigh with a noblewoman, in the 1930s - in a carriage with a soldier and a peasant woman, in the 1980s — in a tram with a pioneer woman. Each episode highlights his immutability: he remains cold, detached, but attracts attention with his strangeness.

Nowadays, the action takes place in the subway. Pale becomes the center of a conflict between the couple, the passengers, and the police. His strange responses to Harry Potter spells, his indifference to fighting, and his sudden display of supernatural powers (stopping a woman from falling) reveal his true nature. However, the ending leaves questions: while helping the passenger, he simultaneously scares her with his fangs, symbolizing the duality of good and evil.

The story explores the theme of loneliness, eternity and moral choice through the prism of magical realism, where Pale is a mirror of human weaknesses, capable of both destroying and saving.
