The scientific community agrees the asteroid impact created the massive Chicxulub Crater in the Yucatan Peninsula and attribute the catastrophic aftermath to a global nuclear winter, wiping out animal and plant life. But what if the asteroid wasn’t the sole cause? What if an extraterrestrial microorganism accelerated evolution, transforming dinosaurs into feathered birds rather than extinction?
