After losing everything he’s ever known and owned, an ex-corporate man tries to fight the system that has robbed him, only to find himself chasing one thing that cannot be returned - his sense of identity.
SYNOPSIS:
After losing his wife, job and home, Jasper Daniels ends up as a homeless widow who has lost all direction in his life. What was once a proud corporate man on the brink of starting a family, is now a lonely, heartbroken soul that seeks to reclaim what was robbed from him. His wife, Claire, passes away after a long battle with cancer, and his best friend, Liam, has abandoned him after Jasper isn't able to tend to their cancer treatment business. Spending time on the streets and witnessing life through the eyes of the less fortunate, he realizes that he is, and always has been, in pursuit of something that cannot be found - his self identity.
He gets particularly close with Victor, a homeless man who lives on survival mode in a homeless camp that is under constant scrutiny by the local authorities. After befriending a mime, Jasper decides that becoming one is the only way he can express his feelings and help draw people's attention to his deteriorating situation. In the meantime, Liam is seen living the life of his dreams and traveling with a mysterious woman beside him. Little does Jasper know that the single most thing he has been fighting for is the thing that wants to destroy him.
