A brainiac pre-teen boy and a stunning, popular, and trendy girl come to the realization, with the help of his friends, that they are not too different after all and that being true to your heart will take you further than you ever imagined possible.

SYNOPSIS:

Painfully geeky and awkward twelve year old Herb falls head over heels in love with trend setter Maris, who is the unofficial leader of the most popular girls in Independence Junior High. Incredibly, Maris feels the same way about Herb, despite his nerdiness. When their worlds come crashing down one night, it's up to spunky Agnes to convince the sarcastic and comical Milt that Herb and Maris are perfect for one another and are only caught in the middle of two very opposite ends of the spectrum middle school cliques.
