A young boy and his crush-turned-stepmother flee persecution when his father is sentenced to death for illegally harboring an angel, and with every new friend they make they unwittingly fulfill a prophecy that wakes up the God of the Earth who punishes all of humanity for terrible crimes unless an ultimate sacrifice is made.
