SYNOPSIS:

Freddie Murstone is a nobody gambler working for pennies on the boardwalk of a neon-drenched, not-so-glamorous future Atlantic City. He's got big dreams of striking it rich at The Twin Dream Casino, but his luck is so legendarily terrible that he’s become a regular target for the thugs he owes. Just as he’s about to hit rock bottom—or worse—Freddie hears about AlterEgo, an exclusive service where people can "rent" another person’s body for a fixed period. Perfect, right? A chance to finally make some quick cash without getting his nose broken—again.

Until, something goes wrong and Freddie ends up in the body of a thief named Gavin Young, a notorious thief, smack in the middle of a high-stakes heist that's already in motion. It gets worse: Gavin's not just robbing a safe; he's breaking into one of Atlantic City's exclusive technology reserves, and the rest of the crew doesn't realize Gavin's running on "borrowed" software. Now Freddie has to fake his way through heist life, negotiate with kingpins, and learn how to pull off a proper getaway. Partnering with the real Gavin (now stuck in his loser body) and a ragtag band of criminals, Freddie's about to learn the hard way that sometimes, trading up can get you in way over your head.

With time ticking down before their "rental" expires, and the real Gavin eager to reclaim his life, they'll have to pull of one heck of heist if they ever want to get their bodies - and their lives - back.
