After suffering an injury combined with the evil witch doctor's potion that robs him of his ability to communicate, Tarzan must use every bit of his jungle knowledge to survive while being hunted and caught by a vengeful poacher plotting revenge.

SYNOPSIS:

Tarzan makes a powerful enemy when he catches a German poacher, Heir Freytag and his side-kick Abbas turning them into the local cops.

Tarzan tracks escaped poachers but suffers a head injury when a bullet tears down the branch he was holding drops him into a rocky valley. The head injury and Freytag's potion from a witch doctor robs him of his ability to communicate. In his weakened condition, Tarzan struggles with the fear of the jungle dangers and loneliness due to his inability to understand or talk with his jungle friends, nearly overwhelming this powerful man. Freytag and Abbas plot to sell him as a caged “wild man” to a freak show in America. Tarzan's new ally, Mary and her professor father from England help him escape only to be drained of his strength and responsible for a terrified woman alone in the jungle. They are forced to rely on each other while overwhelmed as they traverse the jungle threats together.

Tarzan's boyhood friend Themba, new king of the Waziri tracks Tarzan with the reluctant help of Bulgani, Tarzan's great ape friend. Tarzan regains his communication skills but loses his eyesight when he is grazed on his temple from a rifle bullet from Heir Freytag. Tarzan and Mary deal with the question of which is worse, the loss of communication or the loss of eyesight before the poacher closes in on them.

The poachers are defeated when Themba, Bulgani, and the great apes arrive and dispose of the poacher. Thembe regains his confidence to lead his village as Tarzan finds new purpose in assisting Mary's research into helping others with communication disorders despite having just lost her father to the vicious poachers. Tarzan's eyesight finally returns along with his confidence, and he reveals to the jungle that he, Tarzan is back with a great Tarzan yell that rumbles through the mountainside.
