Covert Navy funded medical experiments turn a paralyzed Navy SEAL into a reluctant merman, not knowing his kid brother and an octopus were also part of the experiments. He must stop the doctor responsible for the devastating transformations of other innocent people. 

SYNOPSIS:

After suffering debilitating injuries during a Navy SEAL rescue mission Colt Daniels tries to kill himself when he finds he has been transformed into a merman by a rogue scientist as part of a secret Navy project to create underwater super soldiers. Disgusted, Colt escapes and tries to adjust to his new reality with the help of his SEAL team and girlfriend Diane. However, the deranged scientist kidnaps Diane to try to lure Colt back to harvest his DNA and create more mer-people and disgusting combinations of sea creatures and humans. Colt returns to the hidden lab and rescues Diane but the scientist escapes. In the end, Colt embraces his new merman identity as a "Cool Change," and heads back to the sea to help others who have been transformed, and to get the scientist, while entrusting his SEAL team to support Diane and each other.
