REDREAMERS
By Glenn Acosta

GENRE: Sci-fi, Drama
LOGLINE:

On the brink of suicide, a grieving man discovers Redreamers—a futuristic service that lets people live inside their perfect dreams. But as he reunites with his lost family in a fabricated reality, he must choose between the beautiful illusion or a life defined by loss.

SYNOPSIS:

Mike Turner, a grief-stricken man on the brink of ending his life, stumbles upon Redreamers, a mysterious high-tech company that offers people the chance to relive their most cherished dreams. Led by the charismatic Trent Philips, Redreamers claims to extract memories and transform them into immersive experiences, allowing clients to exist in an idealized version of their past. Drawn in by the promise of seeing his deceased wife and son again, Mike undergoes the process, only to discover that the line between reality and simulation is more fragile than he ever imagined.

Meanwhile, Adriana Giroux, a successful yet emotionally guarded businesswoman, is forced to confront her past when her estranged, terminally ill mother, Candice, reappears in her life. Candice, seeking solace in Redreamers' technology, hopes to rewrite a painful childhood memory before she dies. As Adriana grapples with her unresolved resentment and grief, she crosses paths with Mike, their fates intertwining through their shared connection to Redreamers. A slow-burning attraction builds between them, as both struggle with the idea of living in the past versus embracing an uncertain future.

As Candice’s time runs out and Redreamers' true implications come to light, Mike is faced with a choice—remain in the comforting illusion of his simulated past or step back into reality and risk a new beginning with Adriana. Likewise, Adriana must decide whether to let go of her mother’s mistakes and embrace the possibility of love before it slips away. In a world where dreams can become reality, Redreamers questions whether living in the past is truly living at all—or just another way of letting go.
