This is written as a sequel series to Gilmore girls, one of my all-time favorite shows. I am to capture the warmth and comfort of the original series, while keeping it fresh. My one concern is that having Jess and Dean together might ver to much into fan-fiction or fan-service territory. It doesn't necessarily have to be Dean and Jess, but one half has to be Jess since he is the connection to the Gilmores, and I don't think is is unbelievable for him to be in a same sex relationship, but I suppose his partner doesn't have to be Dean. Let me know what you think! Also, I realize there are a couple of timeline issues that we're just gonna ignore for now for the sake of the story! ;P
