In the (not necessarily) distant future, a struggling artist escapes her troubles by working as a temp for a human replacement agency, but when she loses her job and her own replacement steals her life, she must fight to get it back.

SYNOPSIS:

THE TEMP is a serialized, half-hour sci-fi dramedy that chronicles one woman's madcap journey to expose a corrupt system that sets everybody up fail and the ragtag troupe of allies she convinces to help her along the way.
