SYNOPSIS:

“Shaping A Soul” is based on the book, “The Cry That Wasn’t Heard.” Nadine was born on a farm in the Dan River Township of Caswell County, North Carolina. She and an older sibling is faced with the death of their mother at an early age. Not understanding death, and being passed on to live with elderly religious cousins compounded Nadine’s insight on rising beyond all snares. Her elderly cousins not only laid a solid spiritual foundation but bequeathed a homestead through the cousin’s brother and wife. Nadine’s life is being continuously plagued with societal and historic atrocities. Her notable difficulties went without professional help. She carries her pain inside. As a child she willingly accepts punishment in the form of whippings as a mean of releasing her stressors; believing that whippings are pains of a different kind and they won’t last long. Consistency in life doesn’t come easy for Nadine, but she never let go of hope.
