. A tap dancer feels the heart of the city below her and she falls in love every step she takes on her route to success.

SYNOPSIS:

During a high school talent show, GABRIELLA shows off her talents to the audience, but doesn’t achieve first place like usual, so her foster parents send her to bed without food. She feels comfortable sleeping outside on the fire escape than inside on the bed, so she flees away from the life of poverty to be homeless on her own. A gang corners her to attempt to rape her in the alleyway, but RICHARD saves her before the rape starts. She runs away to find her way to a park and she sleeps on a park bench until he wakes her up in the morning to introduce himself to her. He showboats her talent to the world for cash which she divides with him. She splits away from him to go into a library where she becomes friends with a librarian while she practices from a test on the computers. After she takes the test, she meets up with Richard in an unaccepted way. He takes her to the greatest talent show in the world to sign her up. She wasn’t able to perform that day because of the long line and lack of daylight, but she did have time to make it to the shelter to sleep indoors for the night. The next day, she makes it in to show for the judges and shock the judges. She gets a chance to live in a hotel for free as part of the talent show where she meets JOSEPH. He develops a friendship with her until she gets kicked out of the talent show due to unknown parental signature for the contest. She spends most of the time searching for Richard to be able to continue the contest and finds out things she shouldn’t know about him which turns her world upside down.
