A lonely teenager is sent to a mysterious boarding trade center and quickly learns that it’s scarier than what meets the eye.

SYNOPSIS:

JACK BLACK (no pun intended) is a lonely teen, who has to stay in a trade boarding school full of monsters (Frankenstein’s monster look-alikes, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, skeletons, zombies, crazy clowns, and mummies) unbeknownst to him. His parents sign him up and leave with the quickness. He tries to stay away from a new student named PETER, but he makes friends with the other nine new students. He never goes out after dark which was a warning from a student, who came before him. Once friendships fail, he returns to Peter because he learns that they have a lot in common with each other. Teachers including MISS HARPER and the campus leaders fight over order, power and control as students run amok. Jack witnesses each of the other new students disappearing from the classrooms and dormitories one by one. He remains silent because he doesn’t want to mess up the great opportunity he was presented with, free housing, education and food. He tries to join a trade like the others did with Peter, but he has a hard time figuring out which one to pick, so he distances himself from everyone. Peter was mischievous and started acting out. He spiraled out of control and caused a conflict between the rival campus leaders. After Miss Harper’s attempt to kill Jack, he draws the line and tries to gather the others to leave, but in the end, he learns not to fight the power of change and joins the chaos by furthering his education and himself.
