SYNOPSIS:
Say Something, I Can’t Hear You is a horror-thriller about Kevin Wright, a gifted mute high school basketball star whose life changes after a cruel championship-night prank turns violent. Humiliated by jealous teammates and chased into the darkness by masked figures chanting the phrase “Say something, I can’t hear you,” Kevin is struck by a car and left broken on a canyon road. But from the trauma, something terrifying awakens — Kevin gains the ability to speak for the first time. What should have been a miracle becomes the birth of a monster.Isolated in his cabin, robbed of his basketball future, and haunted by the laughter that destroyed him, Kevin begins studying those responsible. His silence becomes a weapon. His new voice becomes a curse. One by one, the teens who mocked him are hunted in brutal, symbolic killings tied to the phrase they used against him. Mirrors, tongues, recordings, and the repeated chant become Kevin’s signature, transforming their childish cruelty into a nightmare they cannot escape. As Sheriff Reed investigates the murders, his daughter Brandy struggles to believe the boy she loves could become capable of such horror. The deeper the investigation goes, the darker the truth becomes: Kevin was not only humiliated — he was targeted, manipulated, and pushed toward destruction by greed, jealousy, and secrets involving his absent father, Elias Stevens. What began as a prank reveals itself as something far more sinister, tying Kevin’s trauma to betrayal, inheritance money, and a lifetime of abandonment. The story builds toward a violent final confrontation between Kevin, Jordan, and Elias, forcing Kevin to face both the boy who destroyed him publicly and the father who abandoned him privately. By the end, Kevin is no longer simply victim or killer — he is something more frightening: a wounded performer who has learned how to hide behind silence while secretly embracing the voice that made him dangerous. At its core, the screenplay explores bullying, humiliation, revenge, trauma, and the terrifying question of what happens when someone who has never been heard finally finds a voice — and uses it to make the world listen through fear.
