KILLER DOLPHINS!

KILLER DOLPHINS!
By Mark Deuce

GENRE: Thriller, Horror
LOGLINE:

A washed-up Navy SEAL team and reluctant marine biologist must team up to outsmart three escaped, genetically enhanced war dolphins wreaking calculated chaos on vacationers and elite athletes at the CrossFit games before Hawaiian paradise becomes a watery graveyard.

SYNOPSIS:

Imagine this:

In the turquoise waters of Hawaii, where elite CrossFit athletes push their limits amid paradise-seeking vacationers, a top-secret military experiment goes catastrophically wrong. Three genetically enhanced dolphin brothers—Echo, Finn, and Surge—trained as underwater assassins with cybernetic implants for stealth sabotage and lethal strikes, break free from their Navy handlers. Fueled by a cocktail of programmed loyalty turned to betrayal and raw animal instinct, they turn the idyllic island chain into a floating nightmare.

Picture the chaos: Yachts capsized by synchronized ramming attacks, swimmers dragged under in crystal-clear lagoons, and CrossFit Ocean challenges devolving into desperate survival swims as these intelligent predators coordinate with eerie precision, using echolocation to outmaneuver humans like pawns in a deadly game. The body count rises—tourists on sunset cruises vanishing, athletes' endurance tests becoming fatal traps—while a massive storm brews, isolating the islands and amplifying the terror.

Enter our unlikely heroes: Dr. Kai Lani, a brilliant marine biologist who helped create the program but quit in ethical disgust, haunted by the dolphins' sentience she unleashed. Teaming up with Jax Harlan, a battle-scarred ex-Navy SEAL drowning in guilt from a past op gone wrong, they must decode the brothers' strategic patterns—attacks that mimic military tactics, almost as if the dolphins are seeking revenge on their creators.

As Kai and Jax rally a ragtag alliance of ripped CrossFit competitors turned improvised warriors and resourceful locals armed with fishing nets and drones, they dive into moral depths: Are these dolphins monsters or victims of human hubris? The pitch builds to an epic underwater showdown, blending high-stakes action with dark humor—like a dolphin flipping a burpee-performing athlete overboard—and poignant themes of animal rights, warfare ethics, and redemption.

"Killer Dolphins" is "Jaws" meets "The Bourne Identity" with a splash of "Free Willy" gone rogue—a pulse-pounding thriller that hooks audiences with non-stop aquatic mayhem, stunning Hawaiian visuals, and a timely warning about tampering with nature. Perfect for summer blockbuster crowds craving edge-of-your-seat excitement and thought-provoking twists. Who's in for the ride?

I love the story. - and the title is perfect. My only suggestion is to try to whittle down the logline to fit into a TV-guide description space. Like 'Hawaiian Paradise' infers 'sun-soaked'' so there's two words that could go... that sort of thing, IMO. But I gotta tell ya, this is a movie I'd stay up late to watch.

Mark Deuce , I've taken the liberty:

A washed-up Navy SEAL team and reluctant marine biologist must team up to outsmart three escaped, genetically enhanced war dolphins wreaking calculated chaos on vacationers and elite athletes at the CrossFit games before Hawaiian paradise becomes a watery graveyard.

Your protagonist(s) are brill characters and ought to go first, the rest of the missing stuff is all kind of inferred in the other words you used.

Mark Deuce

Looks amazing Morgan Aitken Ipg and Thank You!

Mark Deuce
