In 1500s England, a teenage girl hunted as a witch after her entire family is executed for practicing forbidden medicine must outwit the Crown’s most feared hunter by disguising herself within a traveling circus—risking everything to reach the king’s court and claim a promised pardon that may be her salvation… or her execution.

Mark Films This is a really strong concept the mix of witch persecution and survival through disguise in a traveling circus feels very cinematic. I especially like the angle of “forbidden medicine” instead of traditional witchcraft, it adds a fresh layer to the story.
The central journey toward the king’s court creates clear stakes, and the hunter dynamic sounds like it could bring great tension. Feels like a project with both emotional depth and commercial appeal.
I was inspired when I wrote this after watching the Cirque Documentary series, really appreciate the positive feedback and 5 star rating and support Abhijeet Aade
