When Jackie, a tired and emotionally drained paramedic, returns home after a shift, she dreams about a call she responded to—one that will forever haunt her dreams.
SYNOPSIS:
"Just Another Call" tells the story of a female paramedic, Jackie, who responds to a 911 call - the kind of call that will forever haunt the dreams of a first responder. Upon arriving on the scene of a run-down and dilapidated home Jackie and her partner are given a quick report from law enforcement and fire about what has occurred: an alcoholic father physically assaulted his wife, and their four-year-old child got in between his parents and was physically assaulted; currently the child is receiving CPR.
After several rounds of CPR Jackie and her partner must call a physician to give a verbal report to; who then gives the orders to stop all resuscitation attempts.
This story is gritty and very much in tune with the darkness of real life in the sense of domestic violence, addiction, and death.
