When Hansella, an acerbic, self-important, middle-aged food critic with a penchant for public meltdowns, drunkenly sabotages her career at the prestigious FoodCrit Awards, she’s forced to reckon with her fading relevance. But as her personal life spirals - thanks to a manipulatively caustic mother, an opportunistic younger rival, and a surprise family betrayal - Hansella is determined “to get back to the top, darling!” She agrees to co-host a failing online cooking show. Paired with her glamorous nemesis, Bo’njeanie, who’s newly engaged to Hansella’s brother, Hansella must navigate a humiliating fall from grace, a new career she loathes, and the pressure to evolve - or risk becoming a relic of culinary critique.
