SYNOPSIS:

Sondos Ibrahim was once the most celebrated folk singer in Upper Egypt. Twenty years ago, her band "The Pearl" collapsed overnight — and she never spoke about why. Now her daughter Layla is getting married, and Sondos has gathered the old band for the wedding night. One face she didn't invite shows up anyway: Abbas Ramzy, the trumpet player she hasn't seen since the day everything fell apart. The next morning, Abbas is found dead. Detective Yasser Adly begins pulling on threads — jealousy, old rivalries, buried secrets. Each band member tells a different story. None of them are lying. All of them are hiding something.
