REAPERS is a Western animated anthology series that delves into two different stories: a samurai, Akira Mushishu, who fights for peace and justice, and a cowboy, Jack Barst, who chose the life of crime. After their deaths, a demonic creature, the Storyteller, chooses these unlikely heroes to fight folklore monsters in the purgatory world of the Reaper Realm. As they journey deeper into the realm, they soon discover truths of their past lives that will challenge their morals for good.
