Clive's life seems to be in limbo. Living on the fringes of society with irregular work and an intermittent dependency on alcohol he battles with the guilt of the estrangement from his daughter.

SYNOPSIS:

This is a pilot for a mini-series focusing on one man's struggle to rebuild his life. He believes that if he is able to fix the relationship with his daughter he will be able to start to live again.

Due to his insecurities and lack of ability to take control of anything in his life other than how clean his caravan is.

The opening episode introduces his girlfriend, Lola, a barmaid with a prosthetic leg who also lives on the same caravan estate at Clive.

Their succession of one-night stands are coming close to evolving into a relationship however Clive struggles with his self-sabotage approach to everything in his life.

Lola, who cares for him in spite of her better judgement tries to help him make a connection by contacting her for him. This backfires as she accidentally contacts a friend of his daughter rather than his daughter.

His daughter's friend agrees to speak with Sam's dad and tells him to fuck off.
