Inspired By True Events

In 1837, a fiery half-Cherokee woman, who is married to an Army veteran, is falsely accused of murder and flees with her husband to live in the Cherokee wilderness. But when her husband is drafted back into the Army, she is forced to survive on her own in a hostile, deadly frontier.
